we left Christchurch very early. We transferred at Auckland and arrived in Hong Kong where we spent 2 nights. Shopping was the only agenda.
We arrived in Peking 3pm on 28th and went to our hotel opposite the main railway station. Very good for a budget hotel, our home for the next 8 nights. Geoff, Graeme, Warren, Martin, Kerry and Ian arrived about 9pm and we celebrated with our first Chinese beer.
