Up at daybreak 4.30am. None of us slept that well due to the passing trucks and being a novelty to a car passing by. We had our first freeze dried breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon. Great food. All we do is put 2 cups of water in the bag, leave for 10mins and eat. Very tasty. Headed away further into the desert 6am. Kevin and Sandra led as they had the GPS. Spent hours driving through sand and dust, over passes and lots of sand surfing. Enjoyed seeing the Gers, horses and Camels. Although we thought their would be more camels than there were. Camped further off the road for the night. Windy with a little rain when putting the tent up. We were all covered in sand and dust. We 3 women resorted to having a wash out of a bucket. We also decided this would be the first and last time we would ever visit the Gobi Desert. Kevin had a great day driving.
